Looking at $1M houses in Maryland, this seems like a relative steal.

Yea Metro Detroit is pretty cheap, even if this is in Royal Oak.

My goodness, there is so much going on in here. It’s hard to focus on any one part of these photos (I’m an Architecture major). Fantastic taste in cars though.

Nothing with unfinished plywood should go for a million.

What’s Jeep about it? I don’t see any rock climbing obstacle course to drive on the roof.

I’d say he’s pretty good at interior design for begin a car designer. He also has a C2 vette body on a modified C4 chassis and a few wranglers. So yes, great taste in cars.

I like it but ply...PLY! If it was even pine, but not ply. I guess I can’t buy it now.

4000sqft home...6000sqft lot...no thanks, I like my homes with some outdoor space and my neighbors more than arms length away

Thats certainly not bad, but yea …. thats the difference between metro San Fran and Detroit.

Hey man, Jeep designer …. he did pretty damn good considering he wasn't trained in anything but drawing cars.

To each their own. I waste the backyard space I do have … and have friends who would never move into a city.
But it is odd the listing has no photos of the courtyard.

well, no, he is a designer by trade so he has more training that just cars or at least you would assume that he has design passions outside of cars. The ply was an obvious choice, I just hate it. It looks so half assed, I mean the intention was obvious for a shop look - you know a work in progress, function over fashion - ironically it was a fashion over function choice since ply is a terrible choice of materials in a potential wet area (kitchen).

Actually good call on the whole wet area thing, I didn't think of that. But as someone whose gone through the same program he has and even had him as a teacher …. you really get very little training in anything else.
